Process Documentation For Contractors

Construction Business Owner magazine is almost done with a twelve part series called Entrepreneurial Excellence by George Hedley. One underlying theme of the articles is that if you want a successful business you need to create systems for what do and document those systems. If you can not describe what you do as a clear process and then document that process so others can do it then you are not building a business, you are just over-extending yourself. It is probably showing in the amount of hours you work and stress you feel.
